It was past 8 o'clock in the morning, right after a fine water rain hit our side of the mountain and no rain at the lodge, when the birds came. They would move about from one 'calliandra' flower to another, and if you did not come prepared, you would certainly miss the window of opportunity in taking images of these wonderful Philippine endemics.
An exciting experience for a birdnut like me I would say.. .
